HUB is well known as a British izakaya, but another feature of this restaurant, which opened in December 2004, is that it is a supporter of J-League Kyoto Purple Sanga.

Partha, the team mascot, came to celebrate the opening of the store. In the back of the store, behind the glass doors decorated with the club emblem, there is a team-style room decorated with photos and flags, which encourages cheering.

The 100 seat store is filled with supporters, but the audience is mainly women in their 20s and 30s and office workers. It also serves as a place of recreation and relaxation for the tenants because it is open for lunch in the complex.

With the manager Nakagawa saying, "I want English pub culture to take root and I want people to feel free to come." I went there for lunch on Sunday. It feels like women on their way home from shopping and families are coming to relax. I also have a cup of tea while watching the monitor soccer game.

Of course, beer from daytime! This tea break is sweet and refreshing with cassis berry shake tea (340 yen). The menu changes around dusk and the preparations for a good night life start, but the calm pub atmosphere is not bad.

The drink was an original arrangement of black tea, and there was a special lunch menu for women. Roast beef (780 yen) and various pasta (From 680 yen) are reasonably priced. The half curry and caesar salad set (680 yen) is gentle to your stomach, so you can rush into the pub night as it is.
