コートジボアール最大の都市「アビジャン」の中で、富裕層がメインに訪れる繁華街エリア「Zone4」。アビジャンでも異彩を放つこのエリアに悠然と構えているのが、ここ「Stade de France」。
フランス・パリ郊外のサンドニにある競技場の名前を冠するこの高級レストランは、マルセイユファンのフランス人店主が経営している。そのため、店内に飾ってあるフラッグやマフラーで、マルセイユのものが一番目立つ位置に置かれている。
店内には、地元のお客さんよりもむしろ、外国人のサッカーファンが多い。おそらく他の店に比べて価格がだいぶ高いからだろう。エアコンもばっちり効いていて、蒸し暑い夜にも快適にスポーツ観戦ができるのが魅力。
